Name: Sauda (It means dark-skinned)
Gender: Female
Species: Lion/Black Panther Hybrid
Personality: Sauda is quite shy due to being a hybrid. She's been scorned all her life, so she's hesitant about talking to other for fear that they will mock her.
History: Sauda's mother met and fell in love with a black panther (who was owned by a leader of a tribe in Africa, a gift from a visiting noble), something forbidden in both animal kingdoms. She birthed a litter of three; one a stillborn, the other very weak, and the last, Sauda. The weak cub was taken from her and killed by some members of her pride who shunned her and family as weaklings and outcasts. She hid away Sauda and tried to escape to her mate, only to be found and killed before she was safe. Before dying, however, she managed to get Sauda to her father and asked him to watch over their cub. Sauda grew up alongside her father, though she was never a part of the human world. As she grew into a young lioness, her father began taking her to another lion pride, one that was relatively new and didn't know or have the already set prejudices as her mother's had. Sauda was never a permanent member, but became close friends with a young lion about her age, who was destined to become king of the pride when his father died. His path was already chosen for him by his father, but that path didn't include a lioness/panther hybrid. [Her present story would start around here then when I draw her and such. :) (Smile)
